About the Role
Duties will include:
Chart of accounts (general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, payroll, etc.).
Data, inventory and accounting entries with accuracy. Error- free filing and organization of accounts. Coding and tracking expense categories.
General accounting assistance. Double checking and balancing several accounts.
Locating and fixing occasional accounting errors.
Assisting with the processing of new employee paperwork and related documents.
Writing payroll and filing related reports.
Maintaining petty cash and balancing accounts.
Monthly and end of year reports and compliance audits.
Will be trained on a personal accounting system designed for our Clients business.
You will also be required to assist office staff with billing, research projects and follow up calls as needed.
Requirements
Previous accounting, financial, AP and AR experience. Must be able to produce accurate and quality work.
Professional phone voice, personable, versatile and well organized. The ability to work with others in an office environment. The ability to multitask with a friendly attitude. The ability to keep information confidential. Math, typing, writing, proofreading skills is very important.
Computer skills required along with Excell and e-mails. Candidate must have initiative, be self-motivated and be goal oriented.
